Personality Disorders: Psychoanalytic and Other Treatment Modalities is an academic program aiming to unite scientific orientation and clinical practice.

Our speakers are practicing psychoanalysts, psychotherapists and clinical researchers who will cover wide range of knowledge on the development of personality disorders and their psychological treatment possibilities including psychoanalytically oriented Transference-Focused Psychotherapy and Mentalization-Based Psychotherapy, and Schema Therapy. In case discussion groups opportunity is given to the participants to discuss cases with senior clinicians.

The program is open to clinical psychology students at MA and PhD level, students of post-graduate clinical psychology and psychotherapy courses, and every mental health professional who is interested. Students currently enrolled at a University program that is in Hungarian (BA, MA, PhD or Clinical/Psychotherapy specialisation) can apply for financial support regarding the attendance fee. The organizing Faculty offers academic credits for those students (MA/PhD) who complete the course successfully. The summer school is accredited as a conference by OFTEX (Permanent Postgraduate Course for Hungarian Medical Experts).
